This was our dark, ugly "family room" off the kitchen. We basically just painted walls, trim, new interior doors, and got rid of our ugly hand me down furniture...it's only been 7 years!

And after....
It's amazing what a coat of paint does...I still have a few things I want to do. Chad hasn't hung my new ceiling fan up or the new lighting down the hallway...but we're close.

We're still thinking about painting the brick on the fireplace...any suggestions on a color?? :)

The paint looks great. It is so updated now. I have seen a lot of people paint their fireplaces white to match the trim.
